Joselynn Maas, Principal and Creative Director
As the Founder and driving force behind Option B Creative, Joselynn Maas brings to her clients over 13 years of experience in branding, graphic design, web site and user interface design, collateral design and creation, packaging design, and trade show space design.

Joselynn began her career providing creative services in the software industry at Hummingbird, working closely with the engineers in R&D to bring visual aesthetics to their technical specs.† During her tenure, she perfected her user interface and icon design capabilities while working on Hummingbird's leading connectivity software, Exceed and re-branded the family of Hummingbird products to ensure there was continuity of master brand throughout the product offerings.

After Hummingbird, Joselynn joined Itemus where she worked within a tight knit group of marketers who provided small businesses and software companies with services aimed at re-branding and expediting their go to market strategies.† In addition to the brand work, she also worked closely with the Director to identify and assess potential acquisitions to round out Itemus' overall offerings.

After two years of being exposed to a number of start-ups and entrepreneurs at itemus, Joselynn felt it was time to strike out on her own, and, in 2001, Option B Creative was born.† The vision for Option B Creative was simple.† For clients who did not have the marketing skill set or resources to do everything in-house or did not have the budgets to hire larger agencies with varying skills, she positioned Option B as a one stop shop to help supplement an existing marketing department.

With JoselynnĻs creativity, ability to think with broad strokes, active listening skills and knack for figuring out what clients really needed, she quickly became indispensable to many of her clients. As a result, Option B Creative has played many different roles in its clientsí businesses, from full branding or communication planning to tactical assignments such as logo design or packaging. Her strong relationship skills have also allowed her to quickly expand her network and bring in appropriate partners to provide her clients with an all-encompassing, well-rounded offering.

Over the past 6 years, Joselynn has been able to parlay her deep software category experience into ongoing work with companies such as Platform Computing, Longview, and BorderWare, to name a few.† Her entrepreneurial and idea-centric approach has also allowed her to quickly expand her portfolio of experience to also include: fashion design with Green Shag, environmental with EcoSource, financial services with Score, and other service providers and start-ups such as Convurgency. With all these different clients - one thing is for certain - as her key contacts have moved from one company to another, they continually bring Joselynn with them to their next gig,
as her quality of work and creativity remain unsurpassed.

In addition to longstanding and successful client relationships, Joselynn's work has also been featured in En Route magazine, The National Post, the Globe and Mail and, most recently, the SFMOMA (San Francisco Museum of Modern Art) and AGO (Art Gallery of Ontario).

With a background in marketing communications and management consulting, Jennifer has supported a diverse array of clients, from finance (Thompson Reuters, Citibank, Presidentís Choice Financial) to creating award-winning websites for Michelin, Georgia-Pacific and NASA. Recently Jennifer has been working with entrepreneurs and local App developers with their overall business strategy and go-to-market plans. She now applies her talents at Option B Creative, specializing in digital media with a focus in social media.

Sarah Jane Corke, Marketing Communications Strategist
Sarah Jane is a detail orientated marketing professional focused on delivering outstanding results by laying the groundwork through effective research and development of communication strategies.

For Option B Creative, Sarah Jane contributes to projects with her writing, editing, research and proofreading skills, in addition to her extensive knowledge of web marketing, social media, public relations and managing large scale corporate events from start to finish.

Janet McCausland, Communications Development and Project Management

Janet is an enthusiastic, energetic, results-oriented communicator. She adds value to projects with her ability to think strategically, motivate others and get things done.

For Option B Creative, Janet contributes to projects with her copy writing, editing and proofreading skills.

Helen Tran, Junior Art Director
Helen has a long background in programming and is a recent graduate of the Seneca Collage Graphic Design program. She is a talented designer and has many creative outlets. For Option B Creative, Helen acts as a designer and programmer for many client projects.
